Spring has sprung, and with it comes a shakeup in the lineup found on popular streaming sites, Netflix and Amazon Prime. While some fan favorites may say their goodbyes in April, the additional programming slated for next month should more than make up for any absences. New to Netflix in April

Netflix has a worthy lineup scheduled to make its debut in April, with many notable inclusions in both original content and those leased for use on their service. TV shows and movies are plentiful in both categories, and should contain something for just about everyone.

One of the most highly-anticipated launches next month is a reboot of the famous classic, Lost in Space, which is due to make its debut on April 16th. New to Amazon Prime in April

Prime is also poised to make April a big month, primarily in terms of movies, with a few quality TV series thrown in as well. While Prime is not yet quite on the level of original programming seen on Netflix, they are fast growing in this department in both quality and quantity.

Prime TV

Season 4 of the popular Prime-original series, Bosch, will arrive in the middle of the month, a procedural cop show starring Titus Welliver (Lost). Harry Bosch is a tough-as-nails detective in the LAPD, who despite a bit of rule breaking and an irreverent attitude, manages to have the best solve rate in the entirety of the state of California.

Prime has also produced a third season of All Or Nothing: Dallas Cowboys, and will launch the original show Little Big Awesome at the end of the month. Popular content produced outside of Prime includes the acclaimed show, Vikings, which will be making its exciting 5th season part of Prime’s lineup. The habit-forming co-production from Starz and BBC, The Missing, will return for its second season on Prime next month as well.

Also new in April is Philadelphia, starring the talented Tom Hanks, tells a heart-stirring story of lawyer infected with AIDS. The 1976 classic, Carrie, is also arriving to deliver enjoyable chills to those looking for a little spooky fun.
